Okies, here are some ground rules for you to follow. You must read these before you post.
1. No double-posting.
It's really annoying to see people do this. If you were the last to post but you wanna say something else, just modify the post or deleat it. Don't waste forum space.
2. No one-word posts.
These are especially annoying. I don't want to see one word posts. They take up space and don't really contribute the the thread.
3. No short-hand speak.
talkin lik dis iz not kewl k? This also includes "l33t sp33k". This is an English-speaking message board.
4. No more than 10 emoticons in one post.
It hurts our eyes and our loading time.
5. Avatars must not be bigger than 200x200 pixels
Lots of people are still living on dial-up, so do them a favour and keep your avatar size within the limits.
6. No offensive avatars or signature pics.
This rule is pretty obvious. If your avatar or signature pic is going to offend anyone, then don't use it. Plain and simple. Swears are fine, so long as you're not attacking a forum member.
7. Post in the right forum!
Different forums have different purposes. Save us the time and post your thread in the correct forum.
8. Stay on topic.
It's no fun when a new member comes in late and a thread they might have had fun replying to has gone wildly off-topic. Please stick to the original topics. If you want to talk about something different, start a different thread.
9. Please do not critique artwork in any forum unless a critique is specifically asked for. They took the time to draw something they are proud of. It's not our place to judge it.
Note: Members receive three warnings before they are suspended/banned. Depending on what the member did to receive the warnings, they may be suspended for a week, a month, or indefinitely.
Live by these rules and we should get along perfectly.
